WCS | Celebrating 3 years and ... layouts with WCS!

The November 2010 gallery was my very first with WCS. I know how very excited I was to have been asked to join! It was my very first design team project and it felt awesome! Today, 3 years later it still feels awesome!

I have contributed to 36 galleries and lately I have had multiple layouts in the galleries. Creating pages from themes was hard for me at first, but now when I go back and look at my pages, I see that I have several pages that I am so happy that I did. And perhaps they wouldn´t have been done without that extra push a theme gave.

The team members have changed a bit and it is always sad to see someone go, but also very nice to meet new people. Especially creative people, my favorite kind! We range from "traditional scrapbooking" to hybrid to digital and I think that shows in the wide range of themes and tips we offer.

Since about two years I have also been the one that writes the blogposts for the Click. saturdays. I have written many articles all from fun macro s…

Holiday crafts

I do buy some gifts for others, but I always make some of my gifts, just because I love to! I also always craft something new each year for the Holidays. I am almost done with alot of projects and I have plans to start posting a few here in a week or so. Some will come a little later in December because they will be post on the WCS blog first.

Project Life | Week 45

Week 45

As some of you know, I live on a small island and our transportation to the mainland are 2 ferries. Next year this new bigger ferry is coming and there have been big renovations on both harbours to make place for everything. They have been re-building both on land and in the water for the past year. Since it is kind of a big deal for us, I decided to dedicated a whole page to this. It is unusal for me to do this, but I think it will be fun to look back on.

The second page is my normal approach; photos and stories.

WCS | December sneak

WCS | November sketch

Last Saturday was Scrapbook saturday at WCS. I made a layout using the sketch above that is the November sketch.

My daughter is a One Direction fan x 100! So when she had the opportunity to visit the One Direction store in Gothenburg I was so happy for her!

I used a whole lot of patterned papers for this page. And first I was afraid there were just to many. But then I thought, what the heck!

I might do another page using the sketch, but then I´ll use more photos.
Be sure to check out the other ideas in the Scrapbook post!

Re-Scrap 2013 | November pages post #1

Normally I do one post at the end of the month where I share my three new pages I have made with the three older inspiration pages. But something very cool happened this month, so I will have to share the layouts in two seperate posts. This older page above had such a great sketch I actually made 5 pages using it! Yes, 5! In one sitting! Wow!

First I made a regular scrapbooking layout on paper. Using the sketch made it supereasy ofcourse!

Then I decided to use some of my Simple Stories pocket pages to make the rest of the layouts. This one above is the first you see in the album and...

This is the second page. I realize this has just 3 pockets, but the all around design is there.

I also used the pocket page with 4 pockets. These make it so easy to just add a 3x4" card in there and I can just print my photo in that size also.

This is the last page and just like that I have made 5 pages in like 20 minutes!
Be sure to check back a bit later this month to see the rest of the Re-Scrappe…

Project Life | Week 44

Week 44

This week was fall break for my daughter and I started the week with two sickdays. We did eachothers make-up because that is what we do when we are home sick ;)  I suprised my love with a picnic on the (windy) beach and the three last photos are a few of my current favorites.  I ended this page with a free printable from my friend Monika.

There is a pocket underneath the photo with more words.

The second page hold photos from the Halloween party my daughter and her friends had. I tried my hand on a little seethrough pocket on this page.  The last pockets hold the weekend stories. Me and my love went on a weekend getaway and my daughter visited the One Direction store.

More photos and words under the photo.
Haha this spread has 4 flip pockets!
Have a great day!

Memorykeeping | At work

Here is another layout with a large photo. This time it is a photo I took while out in the woods with the kids at work. I recently went back to work with the youngest 1-2,5 year olds. And I am embracing the slower pace.

To add a patterned paper to one of the corners are one of my go to designs at the moment! And those element stickers from Echo Park are just great!

Happy Friday!

Project Life 2013 | week 43

Here is our 43rd week this year!

The week was rather wet and the swedish fall weather was in full swing. Maybe that has something to do with us wanting to get away for a weekend, because we booked a hotel room and made dinner plans for the next weekend.  I held a lecture and my girl skyped with an english friend.

Friday was pay day and also grocery shopping day. As we live on a small Island with a smaller shop, that does have everything but to a much higher price, we go into the city for most our shopping. No wonder the car is always overloaded :)  The weekend was spend on the couch mending from a cold for me, cosyme shopping for my girl and a birthday party to attend for my love.

Re-Scrap 2013 | November inspiration pages

Here are the older scrapbook pages that I am using as inspiration for making 3 new in November! I think I might challenge myself not to use PL cards for this one! It is tempting though... This is such a great way to use many photos one just one page! And lists, I always have a good list I want to scrapbook! Check back in late November to see the new pages! Lisa

Memorykeeping | One happy...

Hello Monday! I hope you had a great weekend! We went on a little weekend getaway and it was heavenly. But it seems like I would need a vacation since I felt so relaxed ;)

I´d like to start of the week off with a cute photo of my nephew! He is such a happy person and he sure does makes me smile big :) I have done a few of these layouts with bigger photos and I like them. There is always space to either add some journaling right on the photo or atleast add a few embellishments.

Here are two other examples from earlier this year!

WCS | November gallery

Happy 1st of November!  Both my Instagram feed and Facebook feed were full of Halloween happiness today when I woke up :) We gave out our share of candy yesterday too, and tonight my daughter is having her little Halloween party with her girlfriends!
Today also marks yet another new gallery at WCS. This month we all created projects with the theme dreams.

I had to do a layout about how much this last year has felt like a dream to me. Being in a new relationship when you are a bit older is just as good as when you are a teenager :)

You can go and check my layout in the gallery and get more info!

I made two pages for the gallery this month! This one is one that will go in a frame somewhere in our homw. I love the colors I picked for it!

The journaling says: I dream of many years in these arms.
As I said above, you can get more info on the materials etc in the gallery!
