Project Life 2015 | Week 28-31

Hi and welcome to another installment of Project Life spreads. I decided a few months ago to share a few weeks at the time rather than post once a week. Here are my week 28-31 spreads.

Week 28: This was still vacation time for me. We had a few guests during the week and also my sisters came to visit during the weekend. I used a color scheme of sorts for this, you can see it below. I was inspired by the tones in the moodboard.

I added a flip pocket to hold my currently list for the week. I make them occasionally and like to have them in here.

I also added a few photos to a mini flip album to the last pocket. It was a hot day and we were in swimsuits and the baby splished and splashed, so even though I wanted to include the photos I also didn´t want them to stand out.

Week 29: The first week back at work and I opted for a super simple spread using just photos and a few words.

I love to use numbers in my PL album and this week I made a little list with how many tomatoes I could pick, how many steps I took on a 6 hour work day, how many days I worked etc. I loke how it turned out!

Week 30: I worked with some happy colors for this week. I added in a pie chart I made early in the week of how I spend my time right now. Totally inspired by my friend Elizabeth Dillow.

I got a new niece on Friday and she got a whole pocket, ofcourse! I then ended with some weekend stories, for example this of us all crafting together!

Week 31: My daughter moved part time to her father on Monday. Clearly that needed to be documented. She is now almost 16 and lives one week at my place and the other week at her dad´s. I printed out a bigger photo of her room there, but the ink was running out, so I used a sheet of vellum, added my journaling and then placed it over the not so good photo. Make it work, right?!

I added in a story on the backside of that and also a paper bag from a resturant we visited and LOVED.

My daughter spend a few days in Denmark with her father´s family and I added in an insert to hold her stories.

The last two pockets hold the same story. To make it cohesive I let one of the two photos spread out on both pockets.

So that´s 4 more weeks documented with the Project Life system. Bam!

You can see all my scrapbooking projects in my gallery here!

  1. Å så fina! JAg får inte till rätta känslan i det här formatet men blir himla sugen på att fortsätta när jag ser dina uppslag.

Memory keeping | Autumn TN 02

If you´d like to see my first few pages in my Autumn mini, just click here

I am still working away in my Autumn travelers notebook. I have enjoyed to add bits and pieces and stories about some of my favorite things about fall. I will go on in November and then start my annual Christmas mini at the start of December.

Quotes are one of my favorite things to include in my memory keeping projects, so it is no suprise that I have quite a few in here.

I will use most of the remaining pages for my 30 day gratitude project that I do every year with the grand finale of Thankgiving at the end of the month.
I have a question, if you are one who makes traveler notebooks, how do you store them when they are done?

Memory keeping | December mini 2016 - 6 past favorites

Three years ago, when my fiancé and me celebrated our first December together, I started a December minibook. It´s a 6x8 binder from Simple Stories with pocket pages. I decided that I´ll have three years worth of December memories in this mini. So this year marks the last one being documented in this book. I am not doing anything daily (as in the December Daily project that Ali Edwards do) and since I do Project Life every week this album is all about our December traditions and sometimes I do have double recordings, but for me it is all ok. What I have felt special about working in my December mini is that I go all in with glitter, cheesy wordings etc. It´s fun! I fitted 3 years of Decembers in one album and this year I am getting a new album, but will still do the same thing.

Today I thought I´d share a few favorite pages and elements from the past 3 years before I start the new album.

1. I really like that I have included the things I have been inspired by every year. I take a screen…

Kellie Stamps CT 2016 | November

I'm so happy about the re-release of two alpha sets this month from Kellie Stamps! Slim Jim is a set I use all the time for all kinds of projects.

Here is a new page I did for the re-release.

I've been so inspired by fellow team member Diane and her awesome traveller notebooks lately. She often creates backgrounds using her alpha stamps, so I lifted her and made this background for my layout. I very rarely use any other color than black to stamp with, but after using this blue/teal Ink I may have to start.

Since my love is worse in his MS his wheelchair is a must. We are that couple that hold hands a lot and that is something I miss. But when the road is a tiny bit downhill we totally hold & roll :)
