Project Life 2016 | Week 19-23

Happy Humpday! I will be sharing my latest Project Life spreads today.

Week 19: This week I challenged myself to only use bits and pieces from my scrap box + stamps. It was such a fun thing to do and I love how the spread turned out!

Week 20: Pink and grey = happiness! I won a giveaway from Elle´s studio and used my pocket page kit for this spread. Sometimes a kit is an easy way to create since everything already co-ordinates so well.

Week 21: As you know, sometimes I like to use a color scheme when I pick out my products for spreads. I love how, even though the photos might have other colors, the same scheme can bring everything together.

Week 22: I am very consistent when it comes to work on my spreads every weekend. I like to have the week done before the next starts. Most often I finish everything by Sunday night, but sometimes I have spots to fill, waiting for a photo to be printed and most often journaling to be done. I rarely leave the spots unfinsihed, but as you can see here I…

Crochet | On my hook lately

I always have a few crochet projects going on and lately, after falling of my bike and injuring my knee I have also had a lot of free time also. So I have tried a few things I have been wanting to try for a while. One is the crochet wrap around rocks. I have seen this over at Pinterest and have been a little scared to try my hands at the tiny projects, but when my friend Susanna send me a lovely crochet book earlier this year, I found a simple pattern for these. After making one I noticed it  wasn´t hard at all and quite addictive! I have made several and even made a few smaller ones for necklaces.

I made these guys to give away as summer gifts for a few of my co-workers! Aren´t they cute! After making one they worked up really fast and I have made a few variations already. I am planning to add some dried lavender from my garden later in the summer and these could be both decorative and work as a air freshner.

And here is my absolute favorite project as of late! I got the pattern for th…

Memory keeping | Cili in papers June monthly challenge

I played with the sketch challenge over at the Cili in papers blog (https://ciliinpapers.wordpress.com/2016/06/01/manadsutmaning-juni-2016/). Here is the sketch.

It's such a great sketch and can be used for so many different pages!

The story: I used photos of me and my sister getting the royal treatment at my daughter's school. She (my daughter) did make up and our nails for a fundraiser for her school.
The details: Pink and black is such a great color combo, am I right? I love it!  There isn't much other to say really, it's pretty simple like most of my pages lately.
Thanks for stopping by!

Kellie Stamps DT | June projects #1

Hey June and hey new stamps from Kellie Stamps! I have for you the first batch of projects using both the awesome Obsessed digital kit and my new favorite clear stamp alpha kit Slim Jim.

Slim Jim is perfect for titles! I love that it's striped and tall. Here I used the dash and the I to make the hashtag in the title. By the way that is a real IG hashtag, check it out if you enjoy sleepy kitties :)

I was inspired by my DT friend Dee who made some really cute embellishments using a few of the digital stamps! Great stash buster!

Another page about our Sally ;) She is ALWAYS hungry! And I'm so happy I caught these photos of her, since it's so her! I printed the digital stamp "Did someone say" as my title and added the letters spelling "food" with letter stickers.

This page is fun. I added digital stamps to my photo collage from a former kit of Kellies and then made circles embellishments using the new Obsessed kit. Kellie stamps galore!

I'll leave you with…

Art Journal 04

Just before the new season begins at Get Messy  I wanted to share my last art journal pages from the season of lists. You can read more about that here.

As I have said before, I really used mostly my water colors in my art journal. Next season I am eager to use some thicker acrylics too and to work in layers.

I have a file of old book pages, scraps of pretty papers and such. And in that folder was also an old atlas.

Sometimes all it takes is some ink and paint.

Makers gonna make!

I had fun working with different sizes too.

This one was just for fun, not to do with a list.
